Cementation Tips

Zirconia restorations can be placed using adhesive systems with dual cure resins (RelyX Unicem, 3M ESPE; Panavia SA Plus, Kuraray. We recommend Z-PRIME from BISCO to prepare the inside of the crown for adhesive dentistry) or cemented using low expansion cements, like resin-modified glass ionomers, (RelyX Luting Cement, 3M ESPE; GCFuji Plus, GC America)

Indications

1. Anterior or posterior crowns, bridges up to 16 units
2. Veneers, inlays and onlays
3. Implant-supported crowns and bridges

2. Chamfer or modified shoulder margins preferred
3. Axial walls must be convergent (avoid undercuts)
4. Preparation should be cut in three planes
