Material Composition
Ethylenvinylacetat, Thermoplastic Polyurethan TPU
Preparation Tips
1. Take accurate upper/lower impressions without distortion.
2. Record correct centric occlusion and jaw relationship.
3. Ensure sufficient interocclusal space for both layers.
4. Design even thickness (hard & soft layers) for balance.
5. Avoid sharp edges; smooth and polish thoroughly.
6. Verify passive fit and comfort before delivery.
7. Adjust occlusion to eliminate premature contacts.
Strength Characteristics (MPa)
1. Hard outer layer: Flexural strength 80–120 MPa, hardness Rockwell M 85–95
2. Soft inner lining: Tensile strength 3–6 MPa, good elasticity & shock absorption
3. Combined: high fracture resistance + cushioning effect
