Indications

Material Composition

1. Bar: Co-Cr alloy (cobalt-chromium) or titanium alloy

2. Housing: Stainless steel

3. Retention insert: High-performance plastic / nylon resin

Preparation Tips

1. Ensure parallelism of abutments/implants.

2. Maintain adequate interocclusal space (≥6–7 mm).

3. Use accurate impressions and verified occlusal records.

4. Design bar with proper height, width and contour.

5. Avoid sharp undercuts; ensure smooth finishing.

6. Allow proper space for clip housing and acrylic.

7. Verify passive fit before final processing.

Strength Characteristics (MPa)

1. Co-Cr bar: Tensile strength 850–1050 MPa, yield strength 600–700 MPa, modulus 200–220 GPa

2. Ti alloy bar: Tensile strength 895–930 MPa, modulus 110–120 GPa

3. Retention force of clip: 600–1000 g
